What is Cyanotis Arachnoidea Extract?

Cyanotis Arachnoidea Extract is the process of extracting the active ingredient ecdysone from the roots of Cyanotis arachnoidea or cyanotis vaga (Dew grass) through organic solvents and the regular specification are 90%UV 95%HPLC 98%HPLC. The active ingredient ecdysterone also has other aliases 20-Hydroxyecdysone , beta-Ecdysone. Cyanotis belongs to the spiderwort family and its roots are very rich in ecdysterone, containing up to 2%-3%. There are some other plant sources of ecdysone besides Cyanotis arachnoidea and cyanotis vaga, such as hyssop root, spinach, ajuga turkestanica, etc. We usually use ajuga turkestanica for Turkesterone powder extraction. The more common source of ecdysone extraction is Cyanotis arachnoidea and cyanotis vaga.
