Description
Edam 30% is a semi-hard cheese that originates from the Netherlands. It is made from partially skimmed, pasteurized cow’s milk. It is produced by heating, separating the whey and forming the curd. Like other semi-hard cheeses, Edam 30% also undergoes a salting process. It acquires its flavor during the ripening process. Over time, the cheese becomes drier and saltier. The taste of Edam cheese is mild, delicate, clean and slightly nutty. As it matures, the taste of Edam 30% becomes sharper.
Edam 30% cheese supplied by Salsal Trading S.A. does not contain and has not been produced from genetically modified organisms.
