Preclinical studies showed that a diet supplemented with fisetin reduced many measurements of cellular senescence including decreased inflammation, age-related pathologies and tissue dysfunction. It even extended lifespan in animals. Fisetin can also function as an antioxidant to lower oxidative stress in tissues.
