Description
Magnesium phosphate is an inorganic feed material, compliant with Commission Regulation (EU) No 68/2013. It contains 14 ± 1% phosphorus (P), 25 ± 3% magnesium (Mg) and 4.5 ± 1% moisture. Its pH is 8 ± 1. Magnesium phosphate is in the form of granules with a light brown, beige colour and a particle size of which at least 70% are in the range of 1.5 mm – 0.2 mm. The bulk density is 600 kg/m³.
The product is stable for 3 years if stored in a cool, dry place.
Magnesium phosphate is used as a source of magnesium and phosphorus in complete feeds, mineral supplements and other mineral feed applications to meet the magnesium and phosphorus needs of swine, poultry and other animals, particularly cattle.
