Description

Baicalin (baicalin) is a flavonoid compound extracted and isolated from the dry root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, a dicotyledonous Lamiaceae plant. Insoluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, slightly soluble in chloroform and nitrobenzene, almost insoluble in water, soluble in hot acetic acid.
