Description

Soybean oil is a light yellow liquid. It is produced by first cracking soybeans, ensuring the right moisture, and then heating them. The soybeans are then flattened into flakes and subjected to solvent extraction using hexanes. The resulting oil is subjected to a refining process, may be blended for various purposes, and sometimes hydrogenated.

Soybean oil is a rich source of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E. It also contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 acids, which are responsible for lowering blood cholesterol levels. Soybean oil has a high smoke point, so it can be used in foods processed at high temperatures.

Soybean oil is used in the food industry because it is a source of polyunsaturated fatty acids and also increases the adhesion and viscosity of products. It is an ingredient in sauces, marinades and dressings. It is also used in the production of margarine because it has a neutral taste and gives margarine a smooth consistency.

Soybean oil is also widely used in the production of cosmetics. This oil is light and is characterized by good absorption and beneficial effects in restoring the skin’s natural protective barrier. Therefore, it is widely used as an ingredient in creams and lotions. What’s more, it soothes inflammation and regulates sebum secretion, which is useful in the production of anti-acne cosmetics. Massage oils and hair oiling products are also made on the basis of soybean oil.
