Description
Sweet whey powder is a free-flowing, uniform powder that is soluble in water. It has a light cream color and the typical smell of sweet whey powder without other flavors or smells. It is produced by drying sweet whey concentrate, a by-product of hard cheese production.
SWP is water-soluble. It affects the color enhancement and also acts as a stabilizer and emulsifier. It is also a rich source of vitamins and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium.

The shelf life of sweet whey powder is approximately 18-24 months. The product should be stored in a dry, clean warehouse at a maximum temperature of 25°C and a maximum relative humidity of 75%.

Sweet whey powder is also used in feed because it contains high-quality protein that can be used as a source of amino acids in the animal diet.
