Tomato paste

Tomato paste is a thick paste made from ripe tomatoes. The final product has a fresh, rich tomato flavor and a deep red color. It has a smooth, thick consistency. The production process involves cooking tomatoes for several hours to reduce the water content, squeezing out the seeds and skin, and then reboiling the liquid to reduce the base to a thick, rich concentrate.

Tomato paste is free from unwanted additives and is also a good source of lycopene, an antioxidant found in cooked tomatoes. It contains no artificial sugar.
